We listen, act, and transform
Hi, I'm Jason Ritenour, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). I bring both mental health expertise and a whole-person medical perspective to care for individuals across the lifespan dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, and other life challenges. My goal is to create a warm, judgment-free space where you feel comfortable being open about what you're going through.
I take a whole-person approach that combines medication management with practical, evidence-based counseling. If medication could help, I'll walk you through the options and monitor your progress so we can adjust together over time. I also draw on approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you notice unhelpful thought patterns, along with supportive counseling and motivational strategies to help you feel heard and stay focused on the goals that matter to you.
I believe treatment works best as a partnership — you know your life and experiences better than anyone, and my role is to bring clinical knowledge and support so we can figure out what actually helps, together. Sessions are collaborative, with regular check-ins so we can adjust our approach as needed.
Whether something's felt hard for a while or you're just starting to explore what support could look like, I'm here to help you find a path forward that feels manageable and realistic for your life.
